As we know that "The North America" is the
third largest continent of the world.It is surrounded by the Arctic
ocean in the north, the Pacific ocean in the west,the Atlantic ocean in
the east and Isthmus of Panama in the south which
connects the North America with the South America.It has an area of
24709000sqkm, including Greenland and the Caribbean island.
The Rocky mountains located towards the east make up the greater part of the western cordillera.This is also the highest mountain range in the cordillera.In west Alaska range, Coast range,Cascade range,Sierra Nevada and Sierra madre.Mt.Mcknley is the highest mountain peak of North America.
In North America there is Great Lakes,and very famous Niagara Falls is located between Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.During the Ice Age the entire canadian shied was covered under thick ice sheet.
There is lake superior is the largest freshwater lake in the world.
There is different species of animals are present.
Like Reindeer,Raccon,Beaver,etc.
Coffee ,cocoa and banana,groundnuts,soyabeans,oilseeds,

The Meteor Crater Lies in
the Arizona Desert ,In the USA. It is 1200 M in diameter and is 170m
deep.It looks like a huge hole in the ground .It is also called the
'Barringer Crater' after Daniel Barringer Who was the first to suggest
That it may have been Formed by a meteorite impact ,about 50000 years

Paricutin Volcano
Paricutin volcano is situated in Mexico ,the Paricutin Volcano virtually grew from a cornfield .In 1943,the ground in a farmer's cornfield cracked and lava started oozing out. The lava flow continued over the next few years and the volcano kept growing bigger in size, attaining a final height of over 400m in 1952. There has been no lava flow since then. This volcano has helped volcanologists study and understand the life cycle of a volcano.This image is of that time when volcano erupted.

The Old Faithful is a geyser in the Yellowstone National Park, in USA. every 65 to 90 minutes, it spouts boiling water to the sky. The average height of an eruption is 44 m and each one lasts for about 1.5 to 5 minutes. The geyser is called so because of the predictable nature of its eruption.tourist only come here to see old faiths .
